The first one-volume edition, and the first illustrated edition [with a frontispiece illustration and a smaller vignette on the engraved title] of each book. This has also been called the First Collected Edition of Austen's works but it is more accurately the First Uniform Edition as each volume was individually issued, between December of 1832 and April of 1833, as part of Bentley's Standard Novel series, numbered 23, 27, 28, and 30 respectively.
