Agreement brings abebooks book inventory to Yahoo!'s new commodity goods shopping platform

(Victoria, BC) - AbeBooks, the world's largest source for out-of-print and hard-to-find books, today announced an agreement to supply its book inventory through Yahoo!'s new commodity goods shopping platform, Yahoo! Warehouse (http://warehouse.yahoo.com).

Participating booksellers of the latest abebooks.com program will see their inventory in Yahoo's Warehouse program. This opportunity will expand the market for used, rare and out-of-print books and present a selection of abebooks' 30 million titles to Yahoo! Warehouse consumers.

Yahoo! Warehouse shoppers can easily purchase books from participating abebooks.com member booksellers through secure product ordering and convenient shipping options.

The new reseller program is free for abebooks.com member booksellers and provides a broad new marketing opportunity through Yahoo!'s fixed price discount marketplace.

As part of the New Yahoo!® Shopping network, Yahoo! Warehouse (http://warehouse.yahoo.com) is the latest addition to Yahoo!'s commerce area and represents the newest way to shop on Yahoo!. Yahoo! Warehouse provides consumers with a new commerce property where they can buy and sell used, overstocked, and clearance commodity goods at a low cost. Consumers can easily find discounted items or make money by selling a variety of items such as CDs and books and DVD's.
