ABEBOOKS.COM ANNOUNCES PARTNERSHIP WITH SF SITE
20th December 2000
(Victoria, BC) - AbeBooks.com, the world's leading source
of out-of-print and hard-to-find books, announced today that SF
Site.com will provide content for a new Science Fiction/Fantasy
resource page called The Books Are Out There. SF Site will supply
abebooks with author interviews, book reviews, and top 100 lists
for the page, making abebooks the online resource for Science
Fiction and Fantasy lovers who are searching for a particular
book, who want to read about their favourite author, or just find
out more about the genre.
"AbeBooks.com aims to be the most exciting
destination on the Web for Science Fiction and Fantasy readers,"
says Ron Schouten of abebooks. "We already have a huge number
of SF books listed in the database, from hard-to-find, obscure
volumes to current bestsellers. Our partnership with SF Site will
give our readers information about the major players in the world
of Science Fiction and Fantasy, and allow them to search for the
books that they read about." Visitors to the site are encouraged
to offer suggestions about what sort of content they would like
to see provided.
