| In order for you to sign on to Abebooks and to

How to enable your Cookies
These instructions explain how to enable Cookies for common Internet
Browsers. If you are unsure of what your browser type and version
you are using, you can easily find out.
1) Open your browser as you would when you are going to view
a Web site
2) Click on the Help menu
3) Select [About] *name*.
In the dialog box that appears the name and version of your browser
will be listed e.g. Internet Explorer 5.50
Internet Explorer 6.x
1) From the Tools menu, select [Internet Options]
2) Click the [Privacy] tab
3) Click the [Advanced...] button
4) Click on the [Override automatic cookie handling] checkbox
5) Set First Party Cookies to Accept
6) Set Third Party Cookies to Accept
7) Click on the [Always allow session cookies] checkbox
8) Click the [OK] button
Internet Explorer 5.x
1) From the Tools menu, select [Internet Options]
2) Click the [Security] tab
3) Click the [Custom Level...] button
4) Scroll down through the window to locate the Cookie Section.
Internet Explorer 5 contains two separate locations where
cookies are changed:
a) Allow Cookies that are stored on your computer
b) Allow per-session Cookies, not stored
5) Enable your Cookies and click [OK]
Internet Explorer 3x, 4.0
1) From the View menu, select [Internet Options]
2) Click the [Advanced] tab
3) Select the appropriate Cookie Preferences

Netscape 7.x
1) From the Edit menu, select Preferences
2) Select the Privacy & Security category. You can do this
by double-clicking on Privacy & Security
3) Select the Cookies subcategory
4) Select "Enable all cookies"
5) Click [OK]
Netscape Communicator (newer versions)
1) From the Edit menu, select Preferences
2) Click Advanced
3) On the right, you will see Cookies
4) Select "Accept all cookies"
5) Click [OK]
Netscape Communicator (version 3 and older)
1) From the Options menu, select [Preferences]
2) Click the [Protocol] tab
3) Here you will see your Cookie Preferences
