Viewing Your Match Reports
When a book in your AbeBooks inventory matches a book buyer's want,
you are notified with an e-mail message. The book buyer who posted
the want will receive an e-mail message with your book information, contact
information and terms of sale. Your notification does not include
the book buyer's information; it only gives information about the book
wanted. You can also view your match reports from the Members Menu.
To view your match reports:
- Do one of the following:
- Click [sign
on] and enter your E-mail Address and Password.
- Click [your
account] above the red banner.
- Click [Your E-mail]
in the Members Menu.
- Click [View and
re-send your recent abebooks match reports] in the Your E-mail
menu.
- The most recent match reports are listed on the "Listing
Your E-mail" page. To view earlier match reports, select dates
in the lists and click [List E-mails].
- Locate the match report you would like to view. Click
[View Details].
Your match reports can help you to evaluate your business: you can see
which of your books are most desirable, and if you often match but rarely
sell, you may decide to update your listing descriptions to include more
information.
Notes:
- If you have disabled the Match Report E-mail function
in Your Personal Information, you cannot view your match reports here.
You can still review match reports from the Members Menu, however.
- If you would like to return to the match report list,
click [Return to E-mail List].
- If you would like to re-send a report, click [Resend this note] in the table
at the beginning of the report.
