When a want posted on our system matches a book in your inventory, you
will be notified with an e-mail message containing details of which book
is desirable. You can also access your match reports from a link
in the Members Menu.
To view your match reports:
- Do one of the following:
- Click [sign
on] and enter your E-mail Address and Password.
- Click [your
account] above the red banner.
- Select [Your
Books] in the Members Menu.
- Click [Review
match reports] in the Your Books menu.
- Select a date from the list. Click the [Click Here] button.
The "Matches this date" column indicates the number of wants
that matched each book on the specified date. Your match reports
can help you to evaluate your business: you can see which of your books
are most desirable, and if you often match but rarely sell, you may decide
to update your listing descriptions to include more information.
Notes:
- If you no longer want to receive your e-mail match
reports, select [No] for
the Email Matches option
in your
account information. Match reports are still available for you
to view from the [Your Books]
section of the Members Menu if you disable the e-mail option.
- If you do receive match report e-mail notifications,
you can review
the actual e-mail messages from the Members Menu as well.
If you find that your books are often matching but rarely selling, you
may want to change your book details to make your books more desirable.
You can lower the price of a book or add more details in the description
field so the book buyer has more information about your book.
To change your book details:
- Locate the book you would like to change in your
match reports list.
- Click [Change
this book].
- Enter your new information in the appropriate fields.
- Click the [Save
Changes] button.
Any changes you make here are applied to the book record in your inventory.
Note:
- You may want to do a search
of similar books to compare other booksellers' descriptions and prices
to yours.
