Return Reasons
Please view the return reason codes for each program. Should you
need to initiate a return for a book, it is important to use the appropriate
reason code. The reason codes for all AbeBooks orders are:
- item did not arrive - your order has not arrived
to you by 14 days past the estimated delivery date
- item was damaged - the book was damaged in transit
- item not as described - the book you receive is different
from the description listed on the AbeBooks Web site. If the bookseller
disagrees with your assessment, the return will be completed, but you
will not be refunded return shipping.
- incorrect item delivered - the book you ordered is
completely different from the one you received. For example, if
you ordered "Anne of Green Gables", but received "The Wind
in the Willows".
- buyer does not want item - the book arrives and you
decide you do not want it.
