We realize that sometimes it is necessary to return a book to the bookseller or to request a refund for an order that hasn't arrived, so we've made it possible for you to easily start the process through your AbeBooks account.
While signed onto your AbeBooks account, click [your account] above the red banner.
Click
[Your Purchases] in the
Members Menu.

Click
[View your purchases] in
the Your Purchases menu.

To display your orders:
Type
the Sales Order No. and
click [List Orders].

In
the Orders per page list,
click the number of your choice, and then click [List
Orders].

Click
[Item Details] beside the
book you wish to return.

Click
the [Request to Return Book]
button on the Item Details page.

Select
an option from the [Reason]
list. Select
the most accurate reason for your return; processes are different for
each of the return reasons.
If your reason for returning the book isn't shown, please
contact the bookseller directly
for more information rather than using an incorrect return reason

Type an explanation for the return in the [Comments:] text box.
Click
the [Initiate Return/Refund]
button to complete your request.

An e-mail message is sent to the bookseller, including the comments you entered, and an e-mail confirmation about the return is sent to you. The e-mail messages include the following information:
