We know that getting your books in plenty of time for the start of school and at a reasonable price is very important and at times you may have questions or concerns about your textbook order.  To get the answers and assistance you need, we suggest the following processes:

  1. If you're concerned about the delivery of your order, please review the estimated delivery date (shown in "business" days of Monday to Friday) using our "Track Your Purchases" feature available through your AbeBooks account.  

  2. Contact the bookseller directly using our online system.  This system sends an e-mail to the bookseller while recording the message in your AbeBooks account and the bookseller's account.  It's helpful to have this record of communication just in case we do need to look into the order.

  3. We ask that our bookseller's respond to all inquiries within 2 business days.  If you don't hear from the bookseller, please try sending another message through the online system just in case the bookseller didn't receive your first message.

  4. In the rare event that you don't get a response from the bookseller, please contact AbeBooks Customer Support because we would like to assist you.  If possible, please include the Purchase or Sales Order number of the order you're referring to.  We also recommend that you use our online contact form to send us your message.

  5. If you need to return the book or request a refund for a book that hasn't arrived, you can start the process through your AbeBooks account.  If you contact the bookseller before requesting a return/refund, they are often able to either provide tracking information or assist you further.
