Tracking Your Order

AbeBooks has a "Track Your Purchases" feature available through your online account. With this feature, you can:

Send the bookseller a question about an order. (This includes problems you have with the book once it has arrived).
Find out the status of an order.
Cancel an order.
Initiate a return or refund.

Important Notes:

Shipping speeds are shown in "business" days (Monday to Friday, excluding weekends and holidays).
If you order from an international bookseller, there may be delays due to Customs. These delays aren't calculated into the estimated delivery date.
AbeBooks doesn't track a purchase once it has been shipped. A bookseller may choose to use trackable shipping, though this is at their discretion. If you want to track the delivery of your purchase, please ask the bookseller for details.

To access the Track your Purchases page:

On the AbeBooks site, click [sign on] and enter your E-mail Address and Password.
Click [Your Purchases] in the Members Menu.
Click [View your purchases] in the Your Purchases menu.

Ask the Bookseller a Question

After a book's availability has been confirmed you may have questions of the bookseller about the shipping: were there any problems, or why has the book not arrived. In either case, you can ask a question of the bookseller directly from your account on the AbeBooks Web site.

To ask the bookseller a question about your order:

Locate the book order on the "Track Your Purchases" page and click [Item details].
Click [Ask Bookseller a Question].
On the "Ask a Question" page, your e-mail address, subject line and your country are automatically filled in based on your account and order information. These fields however, may be changed if necessary. In the "Comments or questions:" box, enter the question you would like to ask the bookseller.
Click the [Send Question] button.

An e-mail message is sent to the bookseller on your behalf, and a copy is saved on your account.

Status of Your Order

When you order a book through AbeBooks, we keep a record of the order information for you. Any time after an order has been placed, you can view the status of your purchase from the "Track Your Purchases" page.

To view your purchases:

Click [View your purchases] in the Your Purchases menu.
There are several ways to review your orders:

Enter your Sales Order No. in the text box.
Select the number of [Orders per Page].
Click [Newest] or [Oldest] to change the Order Result By.

Click the [List Orders] button.
Click [Item Details] to review the information about your order.

Note:

If your orders do not fit on one page, clicking [More Orders] at the bottom of the page will bring up further lists
