The statement includes a list of all the orders you received within the last statement period (between the first Friday of one month and the first Friday of the next), and the commissions and processing fees are offset from the total that AbeBooks owes you. Your subscription fees will also be offset from the total.

Your AbeBooks statement itemizes the commission fees billed to you based on your past month’s sales. The eight percent (8%) commission is charged on all orders processed by AbeBooks and is applied to the Item Total, consisting of book price + shipping + any extra charges.. This commission is set at a maximum of US$ 40 per item; therefore, books that are sold for an Item Total of US$ 500 or greater are charged a US$ 40 flat fee commission. The commission is broken down by individual order and shown as a total for the statement period. Commission fees apply to all transactions, even between member AbeBooks booksellers.
There is a minimum US$ 0.50 commission charged on all sales.
AbeBooks accepts all Visa and MasterCard payments for orders and forwards payment to you on a weekly basis.
A 5.5% payment service fee is applicable to Visa and MasterCard orders placed on the AbeBooks.com and AbeBooks.co.uk websites. Visa and MasterCard orders made on the AbeBooks.de, AbeBooks.fr, AbeBooks.it, and Iberlibro.com sites are subject to a 3.5% payment service fee. Fees are based on the total price of each order, which is the item price plus shipping and any extra charges you request from the book buyer.
For all sales through the AbeBooks.com and AbeBooks.co.uk website, a payment service fee of 5.5% is charged to an order maximum of US $500. Orders that exceed US $500 in total value are charged at 5.5% for the first $500, and 3.5% for the remainder of the order ($500.01 and up).
The minimum payment service fees are based on the buyer's currency and are applied to the order total , rather than to each item, as follows:
