BookMaster3 - Compose

You can create a file to upload books and wants onto AbeBooks using the BookMaster™ Composer function.  

To create a BookMaster Composer file:

1. Select [Composer] from the Inventory menu.
2. Select [Detailed Record].
3. Select [Apply Defaults].
• Ensure Record Number is the first field and that it is selected.
• Order of Information: do not change.
• Text Composition Controls: do not change.
• Headers and Footers: change both header and footer to Not Used.
• Page Layout Controls: do not change.
• File Printing Controls: change Destination to [Document File] (you can rename the file if you want to, but you are required to keep the ".txt" extension).
• Special Features: turn off the Compressed Listing feature.
4. Select the [Begin Composition] menu option.  If the Output File already exists, select [Overwrite].
5. Do one of the following:
• Select [All Records] and [Record Number]
• Select [Hit List].

You are now finished, and your file is ready to send to AbeBooks.
