When a book buyer places an order for one of your books from the AbeBooks Web site, it is automatically deleted from your online inventory. If a sale falls through, an order expires before you process it, or if you have multiple copies of a single book, you can restore a recently deleted title to your AbeBooks listings without having to re-upload the title.
Books that have recently been deleted from your online listings may be restored if they have not yet been permanently deleted by our system. Deleted books are available for restoration for approximately 28 calendar days after deletion. When this option is available for a book listing, you will see a [Restore Listing] link. Note: If you have more than 1000 listings that have been deleted, the option to restore the books using the online system will not be available.
1. On the AbeBooks site, click [sign on] and enter your E-mail Address and Password.
2. Click [Your
Books] in the Members menu.
3. Click [List and maintain your books] in the Your Books menu.
To view books that you have recently deleted or
that have sold, click the radio button next to “Recently
deleted items”.
Click [View Items] to retrieve the listings.
Select the book(s) that you would like to restore. Multiple books may be selected by clicking in the boxes next to the list numbers.
If you would like to restore all the listings,
click the [Select / Deselect All]
button.
If you are restoring an individual listing, click
on the [Restore Listing] link
within the specific book record.
If you are restoring multiple items, click the [Delete/Restore] button.
You will be asked to confirm the restoration.
Click [Yes, Restore] to restore the book(s)
or [No, return to list] to go
back to your list of books without restoring any deleted items.
The selected books are now restored to your online inventory.
