Update Completion Report

An Update Completion Report is an e-mail notification AbeBooks sends to you six to 24 hours after we receive your file upload. It informs you that your upload has been successfully processed and it gives the total number of books and wants you currently have on the AbeBooks Web site.

Update Completion Report Sections

The e-mail notification contains the following information:

• Book Transactions: This section lists the most recently sent book file names and provides a breakdown of the of book records. It lists the number of books:
• Added (ins) - new book records.
• Updated (upd) - modified book records.
• Not Updated (noupd) - duplicate book record. The book record was not updated because we have an existing record for the book on file.
• Deleted (del) - sold book records.
• Not Deleted (nodel) - the book record was marked as "sold", but either AbeBooks does not have that book record or the book record was already marked as "sold" because it was sold through a Reseller Program.
• Book Orders: This section lists all recent orders sent through our system and provides a means for booksellers to check whether or not they have received all orders sent through AbeBooks. If there are orders that were not received, you can recover them by reviewing your online mail.

The Update Completion Report also provides you with an up-to-date copy of all the details of your account, including contact information, terms of sale and store description. If, after checking these details, you find that corrections need to be made, please update your personal information.
