Uploading Your Books
You can upload you book inventory using a link in the Members Menu.
To upload your books:
- Click [sign on]
and enter your E-mail
Address and Password.
- There are two ways to access the upload feature:
- Click [Your
Books] from the Members Menu.
- Click [Uploads]
from the Members Menu.
- Click the [Upload
your book file now!] button.
- Click [Browse]
and locate the file you want to send us.
- Click the [Send
File] button.
You will receive an e-mail confirmation shortly after we receive your
file and an "Update Completion Report" once your file has been
processed.
Notes:
- If you are uploading books for the first time, it
will take longer for your file to process because we will need to set
up a conversion program for your account.
- If you are using HomeBase 2.3
or another inventory management program such as BookMate™,
BookTrakker™ Pro or Record Manager™, the delay will be minimal.
- If you are using your own custom database, it may
take 7 to 10 business days for our programmers to develop a custom conversion
for you. Once your conversion is in place and your file has been processed,
you will receive an Update Completion Report which will summarize the
number of books processed, the file name, date of processing and your
business details.
- If your file is larger than 50MB, we request you
use FTP software such as WS_FTP™ (for PCs) or Fetch™ (for MAC) to upload
your books. Both of these programs are available as a free trial and a
registered version from their Web sites.
