Adding or Updating Banking Information

AbeBooks uses electronic fund transfers (EFT) to make payments to you for your AbeBooks orders.  EFT is available for booksellers with bank accounts in the following countries: Canada, the United States, and Australia for booksellers who have signed the North American agreement; Germany, France, Austria, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom for booksellers who have signed the European Agreement.

To add or update your banking information:

1. Click [sign on] and enter your E-mail Address and Password.  
2. Click [Your Personal Information] in the Members Menu.
3. Click [Add or Update Your Banking Information] in the Personal Information menu.
4. Select a location from the Bank Country list.  Type the bank routing number, your account number, and select the appropriate option from the Account Type list.
5. Click the [Add Bank Details] button.

You can provide banking information if your bank is located in one of the countries in the Bank Country list.

To delete your banking information:

• Click the [Delete Account] button.

Notes:

• If you live in a country that has EFT, you must provide banking information to receive payment.  AbeBooks no longer sends out checks for payment.  
• You can find the required information on the bottom of your bookstore checks, or by making an inquiry with your banking institution.
• Please ensure that your banking information is correct and includes no typos.  AbeBooks cannot be held responsible for any errors or omissions.
