With the new billing and payment system, you are sent notification of your payments as soon as they are created, rather than days later. As well, all of your orders within a given week are included in the payment – you don’t have to keep track of different delay days for each Reseller Program anymore! More About Payments

Textbook Season In Full Swing

We’re in the midst of textbook season, and it's not too late for you to catch the rush. When uploading your textbooks, keep the following tips in mind.

• Use HomeBase ISBN lookup or online ISBN lookup to quickly add the books. Be sure to use the correct ISBN, as many students search solely by this number.
• Returns rates can be higher with textbook buyers. Remember to include a description of any highlighting or damage, to prevent unnecessary returns. As well, please add your tracking number to the order when processing to prevent returns on late orders.
• Price competitively! Students are short on cash, and are sensitive to even slight price differences. You can use HomeBase price comparison, by ISBN or title/author, to compare how other sellers have priced a given book.
• See our top 10 textbooks list to get an idea of the hottest selling titles.

Web Site Promotions

Upcoming Campaign: Rare & Collectible

Throughout Abebooks in February & March, both online and offline, we will be promoting our rare and collectible books. Watch for more information from us regarding relevant promotions and features.
Tip: Don't forget about our commission price cap: you only pay 8% commission on items up to $500 USD. So if you sell a book for $1,000, or $10,000 for that matter, you will still only pay $40 USD (8% on $500).

Coming Soon: The New Book Room

By now you are probably familiar with our Rare Book Room, which has proven to be a great success: we currently see approximately 100,000 visitors to the RBR in a month. Now, we are very excited to announce the upcoming launch of the New Book Room, which will be focussed on bringing awareness of new books at Abebooks to our buyers, and providing them the lowest prices. Stay tuned for more information on the New Book Room, and please remember to use the keywords "BRAND NEW" when uploading your new books.

Don Quijote Turns 400

We will be celebrating the 400th anniversary of Don Quijote, possibly Spain's greatest novel, throughout the year on Abebooks en Espanol. We urge you to upload your copies of Don Quijote! Keep in mind this is one of the most widely translated titles in history, so please remember to include the language of your copy in the Keywords field. This will help buyers find the copy they want. How would you like to see Don Quijote promoted? Tell us your ideas.
