Domestic Shipping Displayed!
Shipping costs are an important factor for buyers when selecting a book. Our new search results page has made the [Shipping Rates and Speeds] link more prominent for buyers so they can more easily get the information they need. Starting in May, we will test another modification to the search results. All booksellers and 10% of buyers (randomly selected) will see the domestic shipping costs displayed directly in the search results with the link to more information available below.

During this test, we will be collecting feedback from both buyers and booksellers. To view the changes, you will need to be signed on to your bookseller account when you perform a search. Take advantage of this opportunity to see how your shipping rates compare to your competitors'!

Amazon.com has recently announced that they have increased their description field from 200 to 1,000 characters. Please do not purge and reload your books, as longer descriptions will not appear on the Amazon.com Web site. We are currently working with Amazon.com to offer this benefit for Abebooks booksellers as soon as possible.

Reduce Your Amazon A-Z Claims - Add Tracking Information!
Amazon guarantees the purchase of items ordered through their web sites for return reasons "Item did not arrive" and "Item not as described." If a buyer initiates an A to Z claim for an item that did not arrive, they will be refunded unless the bookseller has previously provided tracking information online for this order.
