    HomeBase 3.0 Beta - Test Group
    We’re expanding the HomeBase 3.0 beta test group, so if you’re interested in being one of the first booksellers to use the new tool, make sure to sign up for the Advisory Group, and watch for the e-mail about the HomeBase Beta group.

    Browse Categories
    The Bookseller Advisory Group has provided their feedback on the new Browse category list, and we’re making adjustments based on their comments. (For example, changing "Juvenile Fiction" to "Children's Fiction".) If you use our online listings manager, you can categorize your books there. We’ve also added a downloadable list of the categories to the Members Menu that you can use to categorize your listings if you are using a custom conversion like Excel or BookTrakker. Make sure to contact our Customer Support team to update your account if you’ll be adding a category field to your files. [Read downloading instructions]


    Extra Charges Request Timeframe

    Based on overwhelming support from the Advisory Group, buyers now have 4 days instead of 7 to respond to your extra charges requests. Research showed that the majority of buyers respond within the first 2 days, so this change allows you to ship your books out faster, or re-list them to sell to someone else if a buyer isn’t responding.

    Shopping Basket
    We’re launching a new shopping basket to make it easier to buy your books! The new design addresses many of the suggestions we’ve received from buyers over the years (such as adding a "save for later" function and multiple ship-to addresses). It also paves the way for buying in quantity and coupons. It will be launching on our .de and .fr sites later in the month, when you will be able to test it and provide feedback.     Preventing Expired Orders
    Don't forget to sign on to your account every day to check for new orders! If you miss an e-mail from us, your orders will show up in your Members Menu, ready for you to process.
