Meet
Maria and Marc
Maria and Marc are the newest faces on our Sales & Account
Management team. Booksellers of rare and antiquarian books will
get to know Maria at fairs and festivals as she dedicates her
time to our core booksellers. Marc will be working with textbook
sellers as our fastest-growing segment continues to expand. Jordan
will continue to work with used and new booksellers too. [Meet

IberLibro
Integration Update
IberLibro.com will be a full AbeBooks Website before the end of
the month, so your books will be listed on 5 international Web
sites instead of 4 for the same monthly fee. Now is a good time
to upload any Spanish-language books in your inventory and adjust
your shipping matrix to include rates for Spain, Mexico, and
other Spanish-speaking countries. You'll see your IberLibro orders
in your order list just like your orders from the other international
AbeBooks sites.
Bookseller
Survey 2006
More than 2,000 booksellers from around the world have
told us about their stores, inventory, and the future of bookselling.
Here are some interesting statistics so far: About 30% of respondents
said they have a bricks and mortar location; 10% have travelled
to another continent to purchase a book, and 60% sell books full-time.
We want these results to be as representative as possible because
this information will influence how we work with you. Make sure
your voice is heard: take
the survey now and not only will your store be counted, but
you'll be eligible to win a year's free subscription. Problems
completing the survey? [Read
our Survey FAQ.]
New
Shopping Basket Update
The new shopping basket has been a great success: we're seeing
more buyers complete the checkout process, which means more orders
for you. Buyers have already added 50,000 books to their Save
for Later lists.

Soon - Charity Auction
Next month, AbeBooks is hosting an auction with Penguin
Classics. The only signed copies of five special-edition
books will be auctioned with all proceeds going to charity.
We'll include links to your listings for buyers who've been
outbid, and we expect the auction to attract major media
attention. Stand by for more news soon.
