Hello,

We have exciting news to share with you today: IberLibro.com, our Spanish Web site, is officially fully integrated into the AbeBooks platform.

What does this change mean for you?

  • Your books are now searchable on 5 international Web sites instead of 4, so you may start to notice orders coming in from IberLibro.
  • The new IberLibro site works just as AbeBooks.de, AbeBooks.fr and AbeBooks.co.uk do – no changes or actions are necessary on your part to take advantage of the new market.
  • When you receive an order from IberLibro, the payment service fee is 3.5%, just as with orders from AbeBooks.fr and AbeBooks.de.
  • If you'd prefer to process your orders, view your account details, etc. in Spanish instead of English, just change your language preference in the Members Menu.
  • You'll notice that the IberLibro Web site has changed colors and the logo has been updated to fit in with the AbeBooks brand.

Tips
IberLibro buyers tend to make repeat purchases and often buy high-priced books. Here are a few tips to help you take advantage of this new market:

  • A whole new customer base is going to be searching your books. If you have any Spanish books in your inventory but not online, upload them now!
  • We've added Spain as a required country to your shipping matrix, and the default rates are the same as our default rates for France. You might like to update your rates, or add Latin-American countries to your matrix too. [Adjust your shipping matrix.]

We're happy to welcome IberLibro's booksellers and buyers to the AbeBooks platform today. We hope you'll take a few minutes to check out your newest international marketplace.

Sincerely,

Luciana, Ivan and Almudena
Your IberLibro Integration Team
