We've teamed up with Pitney Bowes IMEX and Best Manifesting to make shipping discounts available to our booksellers in the US and Canada. New "Buyer Changed Mind" Return Process
Buyers now have the reason "Buyer changed mind" available on their returns page. In the past, some buyers selected another reason for their return rather than contact the bookseller directly, so this change should reduce instances where you need to contact Customer Support to have the reason changed. We encourage you to accept these returns in the interest of customer service, but you can cancel within 2 days if you don't wish to accept them. [Read the Bulletin.]

Categorize Your Books
We're getting closer to launching the new Browse to buyers. If you haven't started categorizing your listings already, you can get started in our online listings manager or your custom conversion. [Read more about categorization.]

Your Personal Information Links Re-Named
We've renamed a few of the links in the Your Personal Information section of the Members Menu to better differentiate the information included in your accounting reports. [Review the changes.]

Increased Security in the Members Menu
The following pages in the Members Menu have been made more secure: your order list, order processing pages, shipping manifest, and your e-mail lists. If you receive security warning messages from your browser, rest assured that these are only alerts to let you know when you're on a secure page. Check for "https" in your address bar to confirm you're on a secure page.

AbeBooks Headquarters on the Move!
We've started moving into our new office building, and will continue moving equipment and departments in phases over the next few weeks. We've planned the move to have as little impact on our services as possible. [Check the move schedule and impact.]

HomeBase 3.0 Update

Check for Special Instructions
Make sure to check for Special Instructions before you process an order. The buyer may request insurance, or for the price not to be included in the package if the book is a gift. Reviewing the special instructions can prevent buyer inquiries later on, and makes sure buyers receive not only the book they want, but how they want it, encouraging them to purchase from you again. The special instructions are included in both your order notification e-mails and on the order processing page.
