In response to your concerns regarding Australia Post removing their economy air option last fall, we've been monitoring your feedback about the AbeBooks shipping matrix. We also sent a survey to Advisory Group members in Australia and New Zealand two weeks ago.

While we're increasing some of the maximums in the matrix for booksellers in Canada and the U.S.A. today based on their local postal systems, the shipping matrix for Australia and New Zealand booksellers will remain unchanged.

We've reviewed the rates listed on the Australia and New Zealand Post Web sites, and the prices are below the maximums in the AbeBooks matrix. Several Australian booksellers have also told us they've been able to take advantage of even lower rates and faster speeds with SkippyPost.

Please remember that you can review or adjust your rates at any time from the Members Menu.

AbeBooks is the only major marketplace that allows you to set your own shipping rates and speeds, and we'll continue to monitor your feedback and the rates offered by your postal systems.
