US & Canadian Shipping Solutions
We've teamed up with Pitney Bowes IMEX and Best Manifesting to make shipping discounts available to our booksellers in the US and Canada. Last month we announced a new shipping solution from Skippy Post/Spring Global for Australian booksellers. As we track the success of these programs we'll also be looking to add additional programs for our booksellers worldwide. Review the new shipping solutions.

Textbook Events: AbeBooks on the Street!
In August and September, AbeBooks had teams on the streets of 30 college and university campuses in the U.S. and Canada. We distributed fliers, put up posters, and handed out student oriented collateral – stickers, door hangers, and cell phone socks – promoting your textbooks on AbeBooks.com! Here are just a few of the tens of thousands of students that we reached!

Coming Up: Holiday Tips and Features
It's not too soon to start preparing for the upcoming Holiday Season - here are a couple of things you can do in the early days:

Highlight rare and collectible books for holiday gift giving, as these books can take several weeks to arrive if they are being shipped internationally.
Offer Free Shipping on slower shipping speeds to help take advantage of early gift shopping.

We'll be launching a Craft Books feature next month, geared toward those who craft for fun, profit, and holiday gift giving! If you have an idea for a unique feature, send us an email!

Prompt response times ensure issues are resolved quickly and that buyer satisfaction remains high. Responding in a timely manner can also prevent premature refunds for 'item did not arrive.'

We would also like to remind booksellers that up-to-date and accurate contact information, specifically your email address, telephone number, and mailing address, are requirements of being a bookseller with AbeBooks. The phone number does not have to be made available to buyers but must be available to AbeBooks staff in case we need to contact you.
