Hi,

While summer seems such a long time away, for some it will come all too quickly. As the months go by, so does the Book Club's reading choices and now it is time to choose another from the vast expanse of literature.

The book club is currently reading I Capture the Castle by Dodie Smith – a love story set in the English countryside. May's read is Kim by Rudyard Kipling – a great adventure story that is often considered one of Kipling's greatest novels. So please join us!

The three books to choose from for June are:

Blood Meridian by Cormac McCarthy – this book was suggested by a book club member and looks at early U.S. history.
The Hound of the Baskervilles by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle – specifically chosen for those of you said you like mystery.
I, Claudius by Robert Graves – I think that this book would complement the variety of genres this month.
