Hello,

If you're following our reading schedule for Never Let Me Go, you should be reading about life at the Cottages for Kathy, Tommy and Ruth.

Part II - The Cottages
The three main characters come into their adulthood at the Cottages. Why do you think Ruth is so eager to find her "possible"? How do you see the dynamics of the group shifting as they react to Chrissie and Rodney, and as they become more aware of their own lives?

Part III - What's Next?
In Part III, you'll see Kathy's life as a carer. You'll have a more formal meeting with Madame, and finally find out why she cried when she saw Kathy dancing back at Hailsham - the answer might suprise you!

Discuss & Win!
It looks like there are many Kazuo Ishiguro fans in the Avid Reader Book Club: 61% of you have responded to our poll confirming you've read at least one of his books. This week I want to know: If you had a "possible," would you want to meet them? Vote now and tell us why. You can also enter to win a 1-year subscription to Librarything.com!

I look forward to discussing Ishiguro's novel with you!

Happy reading,

Jennifer
Book Club Host

P.S. Right now I'm reading Catch-22 by Joseph Heller.
