Top 5 Search Tips

1. Check Your Spelling!
   Abebooks finds books matching the exact spelling in your request. Capitalization won’t affect the search results, but apostrophes will, so make sure to use them when you’re looking for a title that includes them.
2. Search by ISBN
   An ISBN is a 10 or 13 digit number unique to each edition of a book, so you can find exactly what you're looking for. The ISBN is located on the lower, right-hand corner of the back of the book.
3. Using Keywords
   When you use the keyword field to search, you are searching the title, author and description fields. Therefore, when using keywords, it is a good idea to be as specific as possible.
4. Refine Your Results
   At the top right section of the Search Results page, you can choose to refine your results. Use the Pulldown menu under "Search Within Results" to add more criteria, or use the links under "Narrow Your Results" to refine by Attribute or Seller Location.
