Searching for Multiple Books from One Seller

Ordering more than one book from a bookseller is a great way to save on shipping costs. Here are a few ways that you can look for these deals.

Browse or Search from the Search Results:

If you search for one book, you can easily browse or search for other titles in a bookseller's inventory.

  1. Search for a book from our homepage or Advanced Search screen.

  2. Find a copy you'd like to purchase. Click the [Add to Basket] button.

  3. Click the [Browse Books] or [Search Books] links above the book's title in your shopping basket.

Use Our Multi-ISBN Search:

Textbook Central features a multi-ISBN search. The search works with all ISBNs, not just textbooks, and we may add it to other search pages in the future. If you know the ISBNs of the books you're searching for, I recommend this option.

  1. Visit Textbook Central: http://www.abebooks.com/docs/Textbooks/

  2. Enter up to five ISBNs in the search box and click [Find Book].

  3. Your search results page displays the lowest-priced available copies together, but they may be from different booksellers. Click [Add This Bundle to Basket] if you'd like to purchase these books, or click [See all (#) results for these ISBNs] at the bottom of the page to see more.

  4. The results for all of your ISBNs are displayed together. Scroll through the results looking for a copy of each book from the same bookseller.

Search or Browse a Bookstore:

You can also search and browse the inventory of just one bookseller at a time. You can choose a bookseller whose name you already know, or search for one by their location.

  1. From any AbeBooks page, click [Bookstores] in the red banner.

  2. Search or browse for a bookstore by name or location.

  3. Click the [Browse their books] or [Search their books] link next to a bookstore's name to view just their inventory.
