We are an online marketplace and all orders must be placed online. We cannot accept orders over the phone or by other means.

Finding Your Book:

In the red bar across the top of every AbeBooks page, you’ll see a Search box. Using our simple search box, you can search by Title, Author, Keyword, ISBN, or Publisher. You can also use our Advanced Search link in the top left of every AbeBooks page.

Getting the Best Deal:

AbeBooks is a collection of independent booksellers located all over the world. Each of our booksellers sets their own shipping rates and speeds and they can vary based on your location. Be aware that book price and shipping are separate and distinct, so be sure to click on “rates and speeds” link to the right of each book title in the Search results. Look for shipping to your location and whether the bookseller offers discounts on multiple items per order.

Adding Books to your Shopping Cart:

Once you’ve found your book, simply click on the [Add to Basket] button beside the book you’d like to purchase. You can add as many items as you like to your cart, and when you are ready to proceed to the checkout, simply click on [Proceed to Checkout]

Creating your AbeBooks Account:

If you do not already have an AbeBooks account, we’ll set you up with one during the purchase process. We need an account to save your secure payment information, contact you, and to track your purchase for you.

Paying for Your Order:

AbeBooks accepts the credit cards listed below. In addition, each individual bookseller may also offer additional methods of payment. Click “Bookseller & Payment Information” at the bottom of each listing for information on that particular seller’s accepted payment methods.
