Booklovers Paradise is a general used and rare paperback and hardcover bookstore conveniently located on the south shore of Long Island, 50-minute car ride or 55-minute train ride from Manhattan via Long Island Rail Road. We are open 11AM-6PM, Monday through Saturday and sometimes on Sunday.
We are a specialty bookstore as opposed to a discount bookstore. We aim to please customers who seriously and persistently search for books on any subject under the sun. However, for customers who visit our physical bookstore we have several thousands somewhat discounted books. We have about 55,000 volumes. About 2000 are rare or unusual. At this time about 1,800 of our books are online at ABEBOOKS.COM and we add a few daily. Member of Long Island Book Dealers Association.

Please note: All orders are subject to prior sale since my books are in a physical bookstore. Books cannot be returned unless they are IMPROPERLY described. Returns can be made within 14 days of sale. We accept checks, money orders, and credit card (Mastercard, Visa and Discover ONLY). We send all our books insured. We ship through USPS but will consider other carriers. We charge $7. for media (book) rate plus insurance. If the book is very heavy and additional charge is required you will be notified. ... Shipping Terms:
Orders usually ship within 3 business days. Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required.
