About Corner-Stone Bookshop
We are a used bookstore in the northeastern corner of New York State, nearby Lake Champlain and Quebec, about an hour's drive from either Burlington or Montreal. We have three floors of books, divided up into several sections, both fiction and non-fiction. Besides our used books, which cover the gamut of subjects, we carry selected new books by local authors or on the Adirondack/North Country area. We sell part of our inventory online.

Bookstore Terms
All sales are subject to prior sales. When a book has previously been sold, we will cancel the sale and
refund the buyer. Books are shipped after receipt of payment, usually within two days. We can accept
online payments by Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and Paypal. We can also accept
mailed payments by Bank Draft or Money Order.
Shipping Terms:
We ship worldwide from the United States. For domestic orders, Standard shipping is by Media Mail, and Priority Shipping is by Priority Mail. Our Priority rate is based on the rate for a Priority flat-rate box. We request that all orders to Hawaii use Priority shipping to avoid delays and lost packages. Orders to New York State should include sales tax.
For international orders, Standard shipping is by Priority (now usually the cheapest way to ship from the United States), and Priority shipping is by Express (a little bit faster and a lot more expensive). For Canadian orders, both Standard and Priority rates are the same and go out by Priority. Our default international rates presume that the book can fit into a flat-rate envelope. Octavo and smaller books can normally fit in one and will be encased in bubble wrap. We will request additional shipping for any international order we cannot ship in a flat-rate envelope.
