About John Lord's Books

John Lord's Books was opened in 1974 as a storefront in Stouffville, ON. The store closed in 2001 and relocated in my home. Sales are primarily on-line, however customers are always welcome, but if you are coming any distance it is worthwhile to call in advance to make sure I will be there. It is a very general bookstore specializing in Canadiana, Military, Naval, Air, Railway and Antiquarian. We also have booths at the 400 Antiques Mall in Barrie, and at the Queen Street Antiques Mall in Port Hope.

Any item found to be other than described or otherwise unsatisfactory may be returned within ten days. 5% GST will be added to all orders shipped to a Canadian address. We accept M/C, Visa, Amex, Money Orders, personal cheques, and, yes, we even accept cash! Please do NOT offer your spare children in part exchange!!

Shipping Terms:

Orders usually ship within 2 business days. Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required.
