All shipping costs INCLUDE INSURANCE, PLUS DELIVERY CONFIRMATION FOR DOMESTIC PACKAGES!! Shipping costs are based on the "average-sized" book. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required. As of May 2008, the post office again raised their shipping rates. On top of that, ABE now charges us a commission on our shipping! We price our books very competitively, so there is not much 'fat' when it comes to shipping. We keep our shipping prices as low as we can afford but with this double bump up we have had to raise them a bit.
