About Ariel Books

Ariel Books are Ron and Deborah Harcus, an Orcadian and a Kiwi respectively. Currently and happily ensconced at 157A Symonds, Newton, Auckland Central near Auckland University. Ron is a 3rd generation Antique Dealer with a passion for Art, Books and Food. Deborah is a qualified Draughtsperson with wonderful Computing skills and a passion for Art, Books and Food which is why we get along. We both read and cook, love company and derive great satisfaction from finding the right person for the right book. Ariel Books stocks rare and collectables, first editions, and author signed reads with an emphasis on art books, history etc. This is one store you can't walk out of without some new, old title under your arm. If you share a passion for books, love the smell of old books and a chat with two eccentric book enthusiasts, drop into the store.

Bookstore Terms

Postage at buyers cost, packaging is no charge. All books shipped same-day payment is received. we pack carefully and insure all orders.Payment by mastercard, visa, or paypal. Payment must be received in full before goods are dispatched. If for any reason you are not satisfied return your book within 30 days and we will happily refund the book purchase price.

Shipping Terms:

Shipping costs are based on books weighing 1.1 LB, or 500G. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required.
