About Bloomsday Books
After sixteen years as an open shop Bloomsday Books now sells online only.
We still maintain a wide variety of titles, with a special emphasis on history, travel, adventure, writer biography, classics, science, regional works, biography and fiction.
Each year on June 16th --Bloomsday-- we produce a play based on James Joyce's Ulysses at the Irish Center in the lower level of Kansas City's majestic Union Station. The day and night celebration includes live Celtic song and dance, and plenty of stout.

We accept checks and credit cards through PayPal. Domestic shipping is by US Postal book rate at a charge of $4.00 for the first book and $1.50 per additional book sent to same address. Domestic PRIORITY shipping is available: $5 for the first book and $2.50 for each additional book to same location. OVERNIGHT shipping will be quoted individually. Orders usually ship within 2 business days. Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required.
