We are located on the main shopping street in historic Old Town Alexandria, Virginia. We are a general stock used bookstore with equal amounts of fiction (predominantly late 20th century, some older and classics) and nonfiction, with a smaller section for children's books. There are about 25,000 titles, although we haven't counted lately. Only a small fraction of our stock is listed online; all online offerings are also available in the store.
Our summer hours are Tue-Sat 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Mon and Sun noon to 6 p.m. Hope that you will visit if you are in town!

Unless otherwise requested, domestic shipping is by U.S. Postal Service media mail at $4.00 for 1st book and $1.00 for each additional book ($9.00 for first book and $ 1.50 for each additional book if priority mail is requested).
Shipping Terms:
Orders usually ship within 2 business days. Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required.
