Barbara has been researching Dayal, her favorite children's author/illustrator, for the last ten years and delivered a paper in July 1999 at the Library in conjunction with an exhibition of the Library's collection of Dayal's work. She delivered the same paper at a seminar on Canadian Children's Literature at the University of Ottawa previously in May 1999.
