OUR BUSINESS| Greetings from Narnia Books. We are professional bookdealers with many years' experience in the trade. We specialize in children's books, fantasy literature, mystery and adventure fiction, and interesting and scarce books in many non-fiction subjects. As our name suggests, we deal extensively in the books of C. S. Lewis, the 'Inklings' group, and others of their circle and beliefs. More generally, we also deal in antiquarian non-fiction, especially in areas such as history, voyages and exploration, military books and theology. We maintain high quality catalogue listings, with a strong emphasis on offering scarce material in top class collectable condition. A note about condition: our highest grade is Fine. Our copies in Fine condition can in many cases be catalogued as Very Fine or "As New." We fully describe all significant flaws in a book or dustjacket, even though it makes a collectable copy of a scarce book seem not as nice as it is; but we get very, very few returns and believe our customers appreciate our strict grading policy. We are always buying books of the sort catalogued here. We purchase collections of old books, particularly in the fields in which we specialize e.g. quality theology, military books, western Canadiana, children's classics, detective mysteries, fantasy and other genre fiction. If you have books of interest, from a few items to an entire library, please do not hesitate to contact us. |
