About Oliver & Co. Books

Oliver & Co. Books has been operating since 1984 and is now located in our home in Charlottesville, VA., by "Appointment Only" and on the Internet. Our primary interest is in literary first editions, but we also have literary biographies, art and illustrated books, history, philosophy, and about 2,500 reading copies of other books, mostly novels.

We accept Visa or Master Card through ABEbooks.com and personal checks mailed to our business address: Oliver & Co. Books, 1417 Ricky Rd., Charlottesville, VA 22901. We send books via priority mail and add $5.50 to the cost of the book; additional books and overseas packages will be charged by the postal weight. Books may be returned for any reason within 15 days of purchase, but they must be returned with care.

Shipping Terms:

Orders usually ship within 2 business days. Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required.
