About the Author:
Jerry McClanahan is an accomplished Route 66 artist and historian who has been mapping, photographing, writing about, and painting the Mother Road since the early 1980s. He is the author of the EZ66 Guide for Travelers and a recipient of the Will Rogers Award for his contributions to promoting and preserving America s legendary highway. Shellee Graham is perhaps the best known among Route 66 photographers. Her photo exhibition, Return to Route 66, toured the U.S. for over a decade. She is the author of Tales from the Coral Court and is co-producer of the award-winning documentary film, Built for Speed: The Coral Court Motel, based on her book. She is also a recipient of the John Steinbeck Award for historic preservation. Jim Ross has been in forefront of the Route 66 renaissance since its beginning as both an advocate and historian. He is a recipient of the prestigious John Steinbeck Award for historic preservation, author of Oklahoma Route 66, and a member of the Oklahoma Route 66 Hall of Fame. He is widely published as a writer and photographer.
