Sadly, the 8th edition of Moon Handbooks South Pacific was the last of the series. Changing travel patterns and the many new ways travelers have of obtaining information made producing a 9th edition economically untenable. After the 8th edition was published in 2004, I did produce new editions of Moon Fiji and Moon Tahiti, and much of the text on the other 13 destinations covered in the handbook is available on my website southpacific.org. Although the 8th edition is officially out of print, you'll find that the used copies sold here are quite a bargain, offering 119 maps, 31 charts, and 1,091 pages of information.
