Author Jennifer Hunter suggests numerous spells to light the romantic fires, including the "Open Up in There!" spell (to get someone to notice you), which should be performed during the waning moon and requires a small chip of ice, a pink candle, as well as chamomile and peppermint tea. If you need a higher potency spell, consider the "Kindling Fire" (it makes someone desire you), a steamy ritual that requires a personal item from the person lusted after. (This one can be so effective that Hunter warns readers to "USE WITH CAUTION.") Novices will appreciate the supplies that are packaged with the book, including a tapered candle, rose quartz, feather, and scented massage oil.

Fortunately, Hunter also leads readers into deeper discussions about sexuality and longing. For example, she suggests specific exercises that can help readers "learn to love their bodies."
