About the Author:
Jill Visser, an experienced stylist works alongside co-author Michael Flinn, who is the Managing Director of the Stencil Store shops, of which there are now 20 in the UK alone.

Visser and Flinn's book is a picture book showing how stencils have been used to decorate every room of the house as well as furniture and flooring. There are no projects or instructions. Jane Gauss's Stenciling Techniques (LJ 5/15/96) remains the best comprehensive work on this painting technique, but Hickey will be a good choice if more books on this topic are needed. Purchase Visser and Flinn if there is a strong interest in this subject.
