The violence had occurred in the place depicted or outside of it, at a time of day or night proximate to or remote from the time shown, by means imaginable or unimaginable from the depiction. There is no idea of what evidence might have been sought from these pictures that can be proposed without an exception immediately coming to hand among these fifty-five examples. Only that something happened, and that the occurrence left behind a body, a relic, or a site.
