This work is a collection of papers from several diverse sources, all presenting their varied points of view on how to create and sustain a lasting peace, as well as the various conceptual perspectives of what peace actually is. This timely publication is also presented as a commemoration of the thirteenth anniversary of the International Year of Peace, and recounts the events of the past years in terms of successes and failures by the international community toward the aim of peace.
The articles provided in volumes 1 through 5 are assembled according to subject. Volume 8 provides a Bibliography; List of Journals; List of Contributors; and comprehensive Name and Subject Indexes.
