SE Hinton is a legend who deserves much more respect than she receives in the literary community. Her books are still read in schools today. Her first book was published while she was just 16 and is the immortal 'the Outsiders'. S.E. Hinton is the Queen of the Ex-Library copy as most of her first editions that surface are library discards, thus Fine copies of her books are extremely hard to come by. At some point, the book collecting community will catch-on. This is a fine copy in a fine dj. 1st issue DJ $6.95 price intact on flap. Bright, clean and square. Only thing keeping this copy from as-new condition is a most faint wrinkle on the DJ that is only noticeable if you turn the book sideways in certain light. Interior flap also has a flat wrinkle. A superb copy of the book that turned into the cult classic film by Francis Ford Coppola starring Mickey Rourke and Matt Dillon. Signed by Author(s).
