PreSchool-A reillustrated version of a familiar story (1974; o.p.). A baby bunny is too jumpy for his brothers and sisters and fidgets until he is told to go sleep elsewhere. He tries to find another home, but because of his bounciness, the little white rabbit is asked to leave, successively, by some beavers, chipmunks, mice, and woodchucks. He seeks refuge in a porcupine's log home, but is himself bounced out, only to land back in his own burrow where he dislodges an invading "mean old skunk" and is hailed as a hero by his relieved siblings. While this book touches on a familiar and perennially popular theme, it is a little wordy, using some unnecessary description that slows down the action. Brewster's colorful cartoons are done predominately in bright Easter-egg tones of green, blue, pink, lavender, and yellow. This much sugary sweetness is bound to contribute to anyone's hyperactivity.-
