About the Author:
PETER F. OLIVA is retired from professor and chairperson positions at Florida International University and Georgia Southern University. He has been on the faculty at the University of Mississippi, the University of Florida, Indiana State University, Southern Illinois University, and the University of Hawaii. He has published numerous articles in loading educational journals and has authored several textbooks in the field of supervision and curriculum, including Developing the Curriculum. GEORGE E. PAWLAS is associate professor of education in the Educational Leadership program at the University of Central Florida. He has made presentations at national conferences and has authored many articles in education journals and chapters in textbooks. He is also author of The Administrator’s Guide to School-Community Relations.
