Gage must also face his feelings for Cybil, a fellow demon fighter. They are all bound together in the final fight to save Hawkins Hallow. Dan John Miller struggles with this mediocre offering, so unlike Nora Roberts's usually well-done fare. The music at the beginning each chapter is evocative, and the computer-altered demon voice also enhances the listening experience.
