Rosenblat gives a multilingual performance, speaking in excellent Spanish when needed and getting all the accents right. She's also called upon to sing bits of arias and manages to accomplish this in yet another foreign language (Italian) while actually carrying the tunes. Drama is heightened by Rosenblat's tempo--she savors the narrative, pausing at particular places for emphasis.
